Can't remember if I shared this with you or not. Since I can't seem to find any of my projects in my account anymore. :(... anyway, I converted this 6mo overall into a 12 mo dress. It turned out really cute. The last trim give it a dimension of a petticoat underneath...

They are really easy. You don't have to use a lot of fabric if you just want simple and not so many gathers. Also you can make it a dropped waist if you have pockets you want to keep.

GIRL!!! Where in the world have you been? (of course I have a lot of room to yell, since I was away for about 6 mos.) hehehe.... thanks for the compliment. Yes you go ahead and use this idea. You don't have to use as much fabric if you want to make it less fuller and also if you have one that has pockets you can cut below the pockets and make a drop waist dress...
