I'm going to glue some rubbery shelf liner to the shelf part of my hoop so things don't slide, etc. I know I saw it on here some time ago, someone put a picture of theirs on here. I was wondering what kind of glue would be best to use?

I tried something completely different and it seems to have worked quite well. I used the Glad Press N Seal, sticky side out, to wrap the inner hoop. It is amazing how much difference it makes. I tried muslin but that just seemed to twist around. It doesn't require any adhesive and is easily replaceable when the sticky wears off. Good luck with your venture. I hope what ever you try works for you!!

Here is the link that shows pictures of how to put the Shelf Liner Strips on the bottom of your inner hoop.
They used Wonder Tape which is a double sided, water soluble tape to adhere the strips to the hoop bottom.
You can find the Wonder tape usually in the Notions section of fabric and sewing stores or at machine dealer stores.
Remember the strips do not go to the corners of the hoop. See the photos on the link.
Apply them to the top, bottom and 2 long sides only and stop about an inch or inch and a half away from the corner.
The reason for this is our hoops are the tightest in the corners so the corners hold the stabilizers and fabric okay.
The longer sides and top and bottom are looser and that is where the fabric or stabilizer will move or be pulled into the middle of the hoop while we stitch.
Click each picture for a close up of each.

I used double sided sticky tape on mine. Has been on there for at least 5 years.
