the 3rd: personal is the special place for personal posts. and the 4th is private.Here's the place where you can send a private message, only to be read or seen by the writer and receiver.
Hope this will help you started here. And about the flowers: you can give another person a symbolic flower just by clicking on the flower. And it's always nice to give and to get flowers just as in real life.but you will get used to us and to the site.And you can always ask, there will always be someone who can help you.
