Now I have to ask. Do you need to be taller that you have to stand on bobbins?

When I used to work in the jewelry store , we did this with pearls to show the difference with fresh water and cultured pearls.

Thank you, didn't know but I have marked a few bobbins in the past because of problems that I thought the bobbins were the problem, will go roll them and all the others. Makes sense. Betty

Thanks for the tip ! Didn't know that ! Will have a look at them when I start sewing.

I never had a problem with the metal ones but these plastic ones I've noticed they can warp. Also, I over filled a bobbin the other day and the top popped off and went flying.
