2012-04-07 Another place to look for help for the virus that a lot of you have caught. I thought it looked like the one that had gone around a few years ago and with that one I knew there were a few extra steps to removing it. You may want to look at this site for help . http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remo... it includes the step used for the other virus that was so difficult to remove.

Yes this is malware and combofix is the other. below are 2 links. my cousing reccommends running maleware alternately until sure computer is clean! You can do in anyway - won't hurt anything, and the viruses that stick themselves into the TCIP stack can be difficult to erase!
