HI LUCY, THE ONLY WAY I HAVE SUCCESS ON POLAR FLEECE IS TO USE 3 DIFFERENT STABILIZERS. I HOOP PEEL AND STICK AND STICK THE POLAR FLEECE TO THE STICKY. I FLOAT HEAVYWEIGHT TEARAWAY UNDER THE HOOP. I USE WATER SOLUBLE CLEAR ON THE TOP. MAKE SURE YOUR TENSION IS GOOD TO GO AND IT STITCHES GREAT. I HOPE THAT WORKS FOR YOU - BUT STILL TEST TO MAKE SURE! HUGS, JAN

Lucy, what happened is the pile on the fleece is too high, which causes the foot to get tangled with it and then needle breaks... The best thing to do is to use a WSS if you have some. If not, I've used plain saran wrap, but when using the saran wrap be sure to use pins to keep it from shifting.. Hope this helps you a bit. I didn't look at the link Bev left, but I'm sure it will also help you too... Hugs, Terre
