Hi,What part of NJ are you moving to. I now live in PA but originally from NJ. I am about half an hr. to 45 mins. over the border in the Poconos. In fact when we first moved up here I commuted to work down in the Middletown area. Hope you enjoy where you are going. Arlene
Wow what great news for you. I would never want to live in ND. I've never been to NJ but it has to be better than ND. I am a Nebraska native (now in Arkansas) and the cold there is sometimes similar to ND but not as long. You will no doubt find many more people in NJ or at least it will have more movement than where you are now.My younger son is in the Air Force and always dreaded the thought of having to go to ND. Said he would get out if it happened...he has 2 years left till he hits his 20 years and lives in Albuquerque where he met his pretty little wife. Good Luck on the move and a happier life. Thank your hubby for is service and to you for making his life easier. God Bless you both.
Karen, I hope you find others in the NJ area. I know how hard it is - when you don't have others doing the same craft as you do. Isnpiration is what keeps us going and we get that from others. CONGRATULATIONS on the move - when do you start?
Sounds like a fantastic opportunity! Congratulations on miving UP and EAST! Hope you like humidity and heat in the summer. There is a reason New Jersey is the Garden State. It is beautiful there. LLDS!
Congratulations on your move. It certainly will be warmer and a lot more people. My mom has become an official snowbird and is in the south now in winter.
Although, this past winter was preety nice up there.
Hi PAl Thank you Rob and Karen and all the service men who keep us safe. The least we can do is move you. We owe the military and the people and families who serve so much more. I am waiting on the East coast! YEAH!!! Suzanne
Karen, this move seems like an all-around good solution for you and your hubby! As I cannot deal with extreme cold weather, I could never live in cold country! I live in the South (Georgia), and even with the mild winters, I still hibernate during any cold days! LOL I empathize with you on the asthma and allergy issues. My mama had severe asthma, when I was in my teens. Now, as I am an old lady, it appears breathing difficulties develop even with a common cold, and bronchial problems more often.
Best wishes to you on your new adventure in New Jersey!!
Hugs,
Angel
Both of my children have asthma and allergies, and it seems that after a few years they develope new allergies, depending on where they live. Will the airforce move you again in three years?
Hope you find lots of new friends in NJ (the Garden State) and enjoy your stay there.
Hugs,
Jacqueline
This is great Karen, as a long time asthma and allergy sufferer I can relate. Hope you find many embroidery friends in your new hangout
hugs
Michelle
Congratulations on the move Karen. I hope it goes really smoothly for you. It's always exciting going to a new place and home. Love and blessings Chris
Sounds like a great move Karen. Hope all goes well and that the move will not be too stressful. Hugs Sarah.
