I just looked on Amazon.com...(can get things cheaper on there sometimes) but it is just about the same price!.
I'm going to check with my emb. store... I get 20% off there.. This is something JoAnn Fabrics should stock and we could use our 40% off coupons!

I have used the Texture Magic in flowers out of organza, sort of made a sandwich with TM in middle and organza as the "bread" on both sides. Hooped, stitched, trimmed close and steamed! The DGD really loved them so putting a bunch on the organza skirt of her first Communion dress. Lots of them! If you just cut the TM the size of the design (or just inside the hoop) not alot is wasted. So worth the results. Linda

A while back I received a sample piece. Loved it. Your right it is expensive. Tried to bunch up fabric and tied it up and put it through the washer and dryer. Then carefully ironed a piece of iron on stabilizer over the wrinkles. There is an elastic thread that can give you wrinkles if you make enough rows of them sort of like smocking.

I just learned about this type of product at an Anita Goodesign event I went to last month. I looked and looked and can't seem to find anything like it "cheap". I bought an 18*47 piece of Texture Magic from WorldWeidner for $9.99.

I once heard about a Japanese thread that you sew in and then shrink but I have never been able to locate it. maybe someone here knows about it.

I had never heard of this and would love to see the result of what it looks like after using this. Hope you might upload a sample of something you have made, so we can see it.
thanks edith
