Wow, what great tips...you are so organized...thanks for the inspirations it gave me to get more organized.
Thanks for all you ideas just about to put paint on walls of my new sewing room and you have given me some great ideas
Thanks for sharing! Now if I could just get so organized! Space is a problem for me; esp. for a place to iron & I press OFTEN when sewing.
Thank you for all the tips. I love to spend time in my work room too.
Great tips Michelle. My cat would love to get to those rubber bands. I have to keep them under lock and key at my house or he eats them.
You are so organized.
Marcelle
Thanks Marcelle,
No cats for me to worry about, just me and DH here now until the grandchild arrive, someday I hope
Michelle
Love your tips Michelle, we could be twins in our thinking. I, too, like to have a divided drawer with all my necessities beside each machine and I also bought a small ironing board, like yours, but have yet to work out a system for easy storage in between uses, otherwise it sits on my cutting table taking up valuable space. LOL!!
My sewing room, in our new home, is slowly taking shape but will be much better when it has internal walls, windows and built in storage. It's all on hubby's list but he keeps telling me he isn't Mandrake. hahahahaha!!!
Hugs n roses, Meganne
Thanks Meganne,
I think we spend so much time in our sewing rooms and we are often limited for space, that every little trick can be useful. In passing, I store my mini board on a rack behind the door. It is really light so it stays in place.
hugs to you
Michelle
You are sooooo organised you really put me to shame. There are some great tips thanks
Excellent Tips and I am rearranging at the moment. Need to dig up some wood and find thoses tiny hooks to make my thread stand and I am with you! ooh rah!
Check out the dollar store for your hooks and sometimes while rearranging we find things we forgot we had LOL
