Glue problem solved, I think! For the peg cozies. I think it was the magnetic tape that's on a roll. The tape doesn't completely flatten out OR stick to the pen, thus you lose contact with the metal surface as it's rolling up from each end. I rolled the tape the other way to help get it straight, but still think it's not the magnet to use. Bought a pack of 8 little STRONG magnets at Lowes store & glued them on, mainly with Aileens Tacky. (Funny: the glue tube burst open in the middle while squeezing it, I think it was so old it had rotted! What a mess!)Also used another glue called Quick Grip on one, it worked too. Used the Gorilla Glue which did work but you are right, it expands as it dries & made an ugly mess on the back. I think you need to CLAMP those magnets to dry..I used another spring peg or those metal clips called allagator clips you use on stacks of paper. Clamped the small magnet just once, the strip I'd sorta straigntened out at each end. But don't think I'll use anymore of the strip, not strong enough. Sorry this is long, but hope it helps.

I agree, the strip magnetics are not strong enough. Use the little strong magnets that you get at a hardware store. Maybe Michaels or Joann's has them.

And I even made the strip long enough to cover the whole length of the peg! Still doesn't work well, esp if you are using them to hold anything!

Sure. I know you were waiting for me to try it all! :-) Smart lady! Looking for a place cheaper than Lowes to buy the other magnets; haven't looked at any of the craft stores or Joanns yet.
