I like this design and especially your version of it with the brighter colours.
I'm a relative newbee to the cuties than most of you ladies so trying this challenge will be interesting. love what was made with the original but yours gives it a new fashion twist. thanks for sharing..
Martine, well done. You did a great job. I have not even thought of what I'll be making yet. Hugs Yvonne
Mops- how did you change the inside of yours and get it to fold in and stay. You have a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
very nice, would be a great little sewing kit for holidays and caravan.
Hugs Pam.
Another really different use of that design. It's terrific!
Love your idea. I love seeing anything that works as sewing thingy.
Her stitching is amazing on the original one. Yours is beautiful, well done and a close look a like.
This would make a nice gift to give to my sewing friends. I love the Cuties they are so creative.
Now this is a brilliant idea!! Great job! Laura*
Well done, Martine. I like the way it folds in when closed and opens to reveal a place for pins and needles, etc. Is the little tab for ease in carrying or opening? Your rose is very well made. All in all, you came up with a great way to use Sue's octagon. A+
Thank you. It's just big enough to hold some essentials. The tab is just for ease of opening.
That is a great idea- looks good- So an octagon to a Hexagon.
What a great idea. I have my old sewing book I made in grade 7 (long, long ago). I might make a new one. I love yours. Hugs Lynn
Thank you. This one was made by hand by an acquaintance of my mother who was bedridden for years and did a lot of embroidery, sewing and tatting. Aren't I lucky to be able to use an embroidery machine!
Yes Martine, I was thinking the same thing: we are so lucky to have a sewing/embroidery machine and software available. Hugs, Lidia
