Thanks everyone! Meganne, I use alot of different things for handles. This one happens to be printed ribbon. I have also used belts, accessory chains, scarves, the same fabric I use for the purse (placemats) and sometimes I buy purse handles.
Where do you get your wonderful handles? XLNT! hugs n roses, M
Thanks! The small design (it is sticthed 3 times together) was from embroideryisfree.com or embroiderfriend.com, don't remember for sure. The large rose is from sewforum.com I think.
I love the purse you made ! I used to make purses in the past, but have not made one since I got my embroidery machine ! Looks like there's some great possibilities. I love the background fabric and your combination of designs. Perfect ! Ann in KY
Ann, all the purses are really inspiring me. I have never made purses before so you are one up on me, but the possibilities of combining embroidery and purse making are endless. I think you should make them again.
Yes, I need to do that. It will be so much fun with all the available designs.
Lovely purse.I like the way you attached the handles to the purse. Looks great.
Oh babyred, I adore this one. Where did you get these rose designs? *4U
The roses all the way up the handles is a nice feasture. Quite time consuming I should imagine? What is the fabric you have used for your purses Babyred?
Believe it or not, these are all made from placemats and the handles on this one are printed ribbon! Thanks!
Also very pretty. You were a very busy girl making all these beautiful purses. Great sewing job. Sue
