Beautifully done! Don't let him get rid of it, it's a lovely heirloom.

Hi Dad, you are so creative and the time you put in this really shows!
Tell your Dad, We enjoy his work very very much. so much talent in them hands of his. also to knit and crochet. Hope to see more of your Dads work around here in the future. He wouldn't like to adopt another daughter would he? Just kidding>...
Hugs and flowers to all.......and a rose for Dad
Please get him to teach someone young. This is an art in itself. Such beautiful work. See if he would teach a youth group of girls at church. He does such magnificent work.
One of my daughters could do it when she was younger. I will have to have him reteach her.
I don't think I've ever seen so many, large, intricate and FINISHED tatted items as you've shown us. Your Dad puts me to shame as I've got bits and pieces of tatting I did years ago. Jan
When I was taking pictures, he said he didn't realize he sat around for that many hours! Winters are cold here and that is when he does it.
Beautiful. I have a tin with tatting threads and a shuttle that was my grandmother's.
I'm speechless! He does amazing work, it's just gorgeous!
Thank you. I will tell him. He's so tickled that you guys all like his work.
He also taught himself to knit and crochet. Mom said he used to knit things for my sister when she was a baby.
OH MY ,DAD!! This must have taken ages ! Beautiful !
This is amazing work. Does he remember how long it took him?
gorgeous! makes me want to go find my tatting shuttle and give it a whirl (well almost - no time right now).
