Okay update on my hand…… went on Tuesday and he said to go on light work for 3 more weeks??? I called the case worker about going to another doc. She will have to call me back. Now about my elbow….this is a photo after a week. I can bend it now without pain. But still hurts some. The place where they put the shot in is very itchy. Thanks to all for their help. Will let you know when she calls.

I almost got a steroid shot, doctor told me last resort and hurt like heck. I said no thanx. But my issue was plantar fasciatis but I think now it was an injury on the pilates which I haven't touched since. Hope you feel better soon.

It still looks terribly sore but pleased that you are doing much better. Keep us posted. Hugs Sarah

Seems like the needle from that cortisone shot may have irritated a nerve and/or tendon, causing inflammation. Nerves heal slowly, and damaged nerves or tendons can cause tremendous pain. I would think a heating pad may aid the healing process, as well as comfort from the pain, or even tipid warm baths of the elbow often will help.
So sorry you had such an issue to deal with!

Ouch! I've had shots without bruising and then some like yours. You just never know how it it going to look and feel like after a shot. Must depend on how deep and what they have touched giving it. Sure hope the case worker can get you another opinion.
