When you embroider on organza does it leave a residue? I have some and it leaves a gritty dust in the bobbin case. I wonder if it is because it was really cheap or do all the organza fabric sew out the same.

I stabilize mmy organza and satin ny making a wss solution. grab a handful of scrap and dissolve it in water - go outside, dip and hang fabric. It will dry quickly! Just make sure your scrap wss is totally dissolved. Even if you have some undissolved, sew and then wash - it will come out great! I do mine in batches, fold up fabric and store in ziplock bag.

Some time ago I have embroidered on organza with glitter. Just "sandwich" the organza between two layers of Free-standing Vilene. Don't remember any gritty dust in the bobbin case. Hugs, Lidia

Some organza has a glitter to it.
The trick is to use wash away stablizer for hooping especially on the bottom.

Well it was cheap, a huge roll on ebay for a bargain price. Now i know why. You get what you pay for. I'll buy a better quality in the fabric store, when i can see what I'm getting.
