I am working on a little wall hanging with the American and Cuban flags or symbols, I want to be politicaly correct...so on what sido does the American symbols go, please? right or left? thanks.

The flag of the United States of America, when it is displayed with another flag against a wall from crossed staffs, should be on the right, the flag's own right [that means the viewer's left ], and its staff should be in front of the staff of the other flag. In other words if it's in an X American is on right side crossing over to left side.

I can not wait to see it!!! i would like to make a quilt scene with all Cuban symbols, I got some the seal, one of our dearest cutie did it, the flower looks like an iris, Mariposa, the bird is small bird blue red and white so i am planning to look for a small bird design and change the colors, the Cuban map, and somhow my DH picture, he loved Cuba so much and never got the chace to see it free, while the Castro regime still there. Viva Cuba

If you google "American flag etiquette" you can read about the proper way to hang flags of other nations along with the US flag. Hugs. Nan

It would be attached to a flag pole on the left side where the stars are.
