Fabric.com is a good website, and often has sales. There are lots of differences in quality, usually good costs more, unless it's on sale. If I'm not mistaken, I think they'll send you a swatch for not too much money if you ask. I'd do that before I made a purchase when quality is an issue. Best of luck, hugs, Marji
Don't know a source but when you are looking maybe if you specify a brand name you will find better quality. I think "PolarFleece" and "Minky" are trademarked brands and both are excellent quality.
Handcock fabrics has thicker fleece than Joanns. Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Walmart used to have really nice fleece. I'd make baby blankets out of it but their's is also so thin now. I agree about Joann's too as theirs seems so much thinner. Everyone going to cheaper stuff, even fast food places. UGH
I know that the last time I bought fleece from Joann's, I had to hunt for the good stuff and ended up paying more than I wanted. Fabric sure has gone up and quality down
