this tiny iron is used primarily for "lead light" patchwork. It works beautifully for these projects because you won't burn your fingers while ironing on the bias tape.

I recently considered buying one of these when I did a stained dlass quilting project, But i didn't need it. my regular iron worked just fine by using just the tip of it and I never burned my fingers even once. Susan

I have one of these and love it for turning the edges of applique. I use freezer paper and starch method. G

I have one of these, but I find it to much trouble to dig out and use. I have not found it to be that helpful, but maybe you need just the right project for it's usefulness. Cindy B

Same here Cindy-it was one of those "handy gadgets" that I had to have-it's in it's storage pouch in a drawer of less used items. Guess I should try to make use of it again one of these days.

very cool! I want to get this one with interchangeable tips. The one I am using is ergonomic, however sometimes I need something even smaller. LLDS!
