wow, your first??? My first FSL was a disaster. but this is great!
Yeah I surprise even myself sometimes. Here are 2 completed and the extra's cuz ... anyway what do you think of the matching doily, I could back it with fabric to add color and make it a hot pad. What are these bowls primarily used for? thanks!
Christine, you got your project almost done for today - you can use a zig zag or satin stitch on this - to stitch the sides up - you will have to be careful when you are close to the base. The best way is to stitch the sides together - up to the last section and then the base to that - then you only have to go up one of the sections from the base to the top of the side.
What a wonderful hint shirlene. I will add that too my hints so when I get brave enough to try this I will have it. Thanks.
Well done. I always sew mine together with a narrow zig zag. It doesn't matter if the bowl is creased while doing this, you can easily pull it back in to shape, or maybe use a light press with the iron.
This is beautiful. There is a certain knack to sewing these bowls up. Once you have done one it becomes easier. Where is this design from?
You did a great job and I love this design. Can you tell us whose design this is. Thank you.
too beautiful...and since you made it it is perfect...isn't that called creative genius.

This looks lovely, and as Carolyn says, looks like you'll be able to complete the joins on the machine. Well done.
