If it's Firefox you're using you go to Tools - Add ons and disable the one the toolbar you want gone, then once the button says "disabled" you should be given the option to uninstall it and then have to restart Firefox. I went to the same freebie site (the one you didn't mention lol) and noticed the "option" to install a toolbar but ignored it and chose the slow download method. Anyway that should get rid of your unwanted toolbar. Annoying the way people are "tricked" into installing rubbish they don't need, that really bugs me...but I hope you get it sorted, and booted. :) xXx
Was that at Sick Embroidery? That happened to me once - OOPS!
No it wasn't. I have an extra toolbar that I don't know how to get rid of it so will just have to get used to it.
Thank You ------ I have now fixed the problem Just have one tool bar that I didn't have before but I can put up with that. Hugs to all. Lyn
On my screen on the tool bar the far left is an x click that and it will disappear (well it works on mine ) hugs
Getting too old for changes I just liked it before as I was used to it. Now I have to think too much.
Depending on your operating system, I doubt that their software created a restore point, however you may be able to restore from yesterday. You will lose any data (downloads) since then, yet you will be better. I stopped going to places (file sharers) that insist I use their product. I have a lot less problems. Good Luck! LLDS!
I went into a site that was listed on here. Really don't need any more freebies so don't know why I went into there anyhow.
Sorry can't help that is when I call my DH. Hope you get everything back. DeVon
