I have spent today learning (thanks to Vicki from Basketcase and Emb Library)how to embroider cards. I used a NEW No.11 needle(couldn't get a 65/9 locally)but the stitches cut into the cardstock, the design I used was from Embroidery Library specially for cardstock. Vicki suggests ripple designs so I will try to get one to sample. Also if you know any designs suitable, tried Emb Library but they are mostly Christmas designs and I would like some for all year round greetings.

Many thanks

I used the Christmas design set from Starbird Stock Designs. https://www.starbirdstockdesigns....
They stitched out great. The set is costly, but I got it during a great sale they were having.
Good luck.

Martine digitised a lovely rose design, specifically for cards, if you go to You embroidery and click on Martine's ID you should find it easily.
Ah what the hey, I did it for you. LOL!!!

I would think any line work design would be suitable for cards, as long as it is not filled.
Hugs n love, Meg
