This IS an embroidery question! I have a little design made and still in my 4x4 hoop. Is there some quick and easy way to somehow now make this an applique onto an already finished quilt? Do I have to unhoop and rehoop it to the quilt? Could I spray it on with adhesive? It won't matter if the outline of the applique frame shows on the back on this quilt. I just keep thinking there must be a way, but my fried brain is not cooperating! Thanks! Jan

Have you got a simple design of a satin stich circle or other fitting shape? Stitch that on your (still hooped) design. Cut it out and stitch that on your quilt - having the neat edge may make it easier to machine stitch the patch to the quilt.

That might work....

I'd sure love to do it on the machine - my hand stitching isn't so beautiful anymore LOL

You could pin or baste it down, then applique it on.

Jan, I would unhoop it and then get you some HB (wonderunder) and iron it on. then you could use a whip stitch to make it look like you hand stitch it there.

What a great name 'wonderunder' it called bondaweb in the UK. Not half as exotic
