Dear Cute Family, I need your help. 3 weeks ago I hurt my left shoulder at work, and the doctor said I have bursitis. The pain is unbearable. I have just seen this post today. I do hope that you get better very soon.I would think that if your job was the problem, they should compensate you while you are getting better! Sorry to hear about your problems. Hope you can claim from the Unemployment benefit. Fill in your forms and give a Drs. note. You may have to have your Dr. fill in a medical claim form too. Hope better days are just ahead.****

Yoriko, I have not been on cute for a while so I did not see this. If you hurt it at work you should get workcover payments.You should make a claim and see about getting it back dated so you can get your sick leave entitlements back.

I didn't see this until today. I hope with all my heart you are much better by now. You are in my prayers.

Yoriko the cortisone is wonderful if you can take it. My daughter has heart problems and a steroid makes her go into Atril Fib so cortisone is not for her. She is getting better with the Ibuprofin and heat and PT but it takes a lot more time./Lillian

God bles you Yoriko. My daughter is laid up right now with the same thing in right hip. She sits with a heating pad on it and takes large doses of Ibuprofen prescribed by the Orthopedist. She is also having PT/ Like you she says the pain is almost unbearable but she goes on to work everyday and tells me she simply sits at her desk with the leg up and a heating pad and delegates others. Yoriko, A couple of years ago I had this also. I w2as booked in to have an injection in my shoulder which was going to cost $50 just for the injection. I started knitting Trauma Teddies and a bout 4 days before I was supposed to have the injection I realised that my shoulder was not hurting any more. Hope your shoulder gets better soon.

I had a cortisone injection yesterday, and it was $380.00, but it was covered by the work compensation. Today my shoulder is still very painful. I hope I get better soon too. Hugs, Yoriko

I had bursitis in my right hip and the specialist gave me an injection, it helped me straight away.
Perhaps you could see a second doctor or go back and ask for an injection from the first doctor.
