They should be arriving in London in just a few minutes. Then Pavel has a 20 hour layover.
I'm excited just anticipating the journey of all of these quilts. Love Chris
Pavel and our quilts are flying over the North Atlantic Ocean right now!
Well, I'll keep praying and thinking about Pavel as he leaves and just keep him in mind throughout the time he is travelling. It's been a real labour of love and I know the children will be over the moon with all of the quilts. Thank you Jan for all the co-ordination of this mammoth task. God is in control - all the time. Love always, Chris, Newacastle, AUSTRALIA!!!
You are right, Chris. They are really world-traveled quilts! I wish we could add up all the miles/kilos they have all travelled! I keep little chills of anticipation :-)
They are on my prayer list! Hope it brings a little light of hope to them.
Prayers are with Pavel on his journey. Blessings to all the children! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Actually, it's 6:00 mountain daylight time that Pavel and the quilts take off. Pray also they get through customs. . .
Dear Jan
I pray that all the love that went into those quilts transcends down to every person who comes into contact with them and in turn changes a little something in their lives, that this love keeps Pavel and those bags safe, and that the children finish the circle of love with their huge wonderful smiles and joyful hearts.
Praying with everyone else
Hugs from Michelle in Montreal, Canada
This is so exciting. I can hardly contain myself! I pray for Pavel's safe journey. I can hardly wait to see pictures! Thank you, Jan, for all your hard work....a real labor of LOVE! Now, how can we help for the August trip???
More quilts, I guess. But, I'm taking a vacation from quilts for a whole month! Actually I have two new babies on the way. NOT me, a niece and a new grandbaby! Thanks for asking :-)
Oops, I forgot to upload the photo.
It was the funniest thing! In the US it takes a lot of courage for a guy to wear a pink elephant! Thanks, Chris!
May God Bless him & the gifts of Love on their journey! I pray!
I'd love to know who all will be praying, and from where! Pavel would love to know!
Also, if you want to donate for the extra baggage charges, you can send it through PayPal. Pavel will have access to it while he is there. The baggage charges should be either $210 or $360. We sent $250. Any extra money will go directly for food for the orphans. Pavel's email address for PayPal is pavel.reppo@gmail.com I think we can also send him messages at this email address! I totally trust Pavel with our quilts and our donations. He's an amazing young man! Here is a photo of him, with the pink elephant chap stick holder Chris made - he loves pink elephants, from Dumbo: they mean to Dream.
