Our Quilts leave today on their journey to Uganda! Pavel and the quilts leave Denver this afternoon. He flies to London and has a 20 hour layover. Then he flies from London to Uganda, arriving there on Thursday. He'll be met by Patrick and others to help with the three HEAVY duffle bags of quilts! He is going to let us know when he arrives.

How about if we "Pray without ceasing" during Pavel's travel time? We have Cuties around the world, so if we just say lots of little prayers throughout our days, no matter which time zone, Pavel and our precious quilts will be covered with prayer. I'm praying that Pavel will be safe for his whole month-long mission, that the quilts will arrive safely with Pavel, that each child receives just the "right" quilt, and that the children will understand that there are people who care about them all around the world. Any other ideas on what to pray for? Here is the picture I posted before of Andrea and Pavel with the orphans in January. Pavel is the one on the left holding two of the kids. He says they just keep coming, wanting him to pick them up. Andrea is in the middle, Sean, an American, also from the Uganda Project is next holding two kids. Patrick is the director, holding the papers in one hand and the adorable little girl on his hip. I wonder which quilts will go to these kid......... I am overjoyed!
Thank You Thank You Thank You for making this a reality! God bless Cuties!
I bet you wish I weren't so wordy by now! Hugs, Jan

They should be arriving in London in just a few minutes. Then Pavel has a 20 hour layover.

Well, I'll keep praying and thinking about Pavel as he leaves and just keep him in mind throughout the time he is travelling. It's been a real labour of love and I know the children will be over the moon with all of the quilts. Thank you Jan for all the co-ordination of this mammoth task. God is in control - all the time. Love always, Chris, Newacastle, AUSTRALIA!!!

Dear Jan
I pray that all the love that went into those quilts transcends down to every person who comes into contact with them and in turn changes a little something in their lives, that this love keeps Pavel and those bags safe, and that the children finish the circle of love with their huge wonderful smiles and joyful hearts.
Praying with everyone else
Hugs from Michelle in Montreal, Canada

More quilts, I guess. But, I'm taking a vacation from quilts for a whole month! Actually I have two new babies on the way. NOT me, a niece and a new grandbaby! Thanks for asking :-)

Glad I made something for Pavel that has real meaning for him. Love Chris

It was the funniest thing! In the US it takes a lot of courage for a guy to wear a pink elephant! Thanks, Chris!

I'd love to know who all will be praying, and from where! Pavel would love to know!

Also, if you want to donate for the extra baggage charges, you can send it through PayPal. Pavel will have access to it while he is there. The baggage charges should be either $210 or $360. We sent $250. Any extra money will go directly for food for the orphans. Pavel's email address for PayPal is pavel.reppo@gmail.com I think we can also send him messages at this email address! I totally trust Pavel with our quilts and our donations. He's an amazing young man! Here is a photo of him, with the pink elephant chap stick holder Chris made - he loves pink elephants, from Dumbo: they mean to Dream.
