WOW! Lyn these are absolutely stunning. What a lovely surprise for those children when they open up their shoe box! I understand about being cold in Adelaide it's certainly hit with a vengeance this year. Find a little nook in the sun and out of the wind and cold. Newcastle has been cold this year too! My sewing room is freezing - I have polished floorboards and the wind comes through it! Love Chris
Sometimes doing something for others helps you feel better. Just seeing these roses made me smile. They are just beautiful. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Thank you for showing these, they are fab.
Thank you for the instructions in the other post also.
Hugs Bev
If you notice the orange ones on the top, they are made from double sided satin ribbon and don't sit as well as the others. The deep pink one second from left on top row is made from organza with a double sided satin center. Not as easy ans the others.
They are lovely! and thank you for the instructions. I can't wait to make them.
LQQK here:

Love the roses, Lyn. You'll have to come to Nth Qld for some warmth :) Hope you feel better soon.
You mean go home. I moved from Innisfail to Adelaide when I was 15. Couldn't stand the Humidity up there now.
Lyn, you are right about the humidity, I can't stand it up here in summer, but we have had simply glorious sunny cool weather for a few weeks here in the Norh. Unfortunately, the weather man says we may have a showery weekend.
They are very rich, it must have been a lot of work.
How pretty they all are, hope you soon feel better.
hugs Pam.
Lyn, these are stunning - you have been very. I am so sorry that you haven't been feeling well - I will be praying for a quick recovery.
Thanks Shirlene. I am OK but just can't face any machine sewing. Getting old with all the aches and pains that we get with the colds and age.
Hope you feel better soon. These are lovely. Well done.

Those are absolutely beautiful. Are there directions on how to make them?
Barbara in Alaska
No, Sorry Barbara no directions but sure you could find something on You Tube. Could never live in Alaska. I am hating the cold here already and the lowest has been 2C.
You can find the directions on You Tube for sure, you will find several different versions. Like Cute that site is addictive. Sara
