I have a box at the very top of my toolbar that has 2 green arrows in it- one going up and one going down. It is very small but right next to the place you type in what site you want to go to. If you click on it, it automatically refreshes the page. My son did set up this Dell machine when it came in so I have no idea if he added it or if it had it there to start with. It is all according to how the machine is set up and what browser you are using. This box does not work when I have to use Google Chrome......
On your keyboard (possibly on the top right) there are lights and a "Fn" key. Press that Fn key one time to see if a light is changed. You want the function light to change (on or off I forget which one works) and then the F5 key will refresh the page. Your keyboard allows for different functions in different modes. I hope this helps.
Right clicking on a web page should also give you the option to refresh the page (in my Firefox it is "reload" also in Firefox you can go to View -- Reload) :) xXx
I have a circle that doesn't close with an arrow at one end, that is my refresh button. Look and see if you have that
hit the f5 button
Thank you so much! I don't use my function buttons enough to know what they mean.
Thank you for this information.
Hugs, Bonnie
I just tried this and it did not work. I have a wireless Microsoft keyboard. F5 opens files, so I guess I will try something else. Thank you any way.
