I do not do anything different to embroidery on leather. I use jacket weight leather, not, of course, heavy leather.

This is an "upcycled" jacket. I've never had any garment leather taat was too thick.

I love machine embroidery on leater. This design had very few jumps and none where they were sewn over. Leather will leave holes if the design has poor jumps.
