Just had to make one (2) of these microwavebowl holders. It went together very quick and easily. The first one I made i did alot of free motion quilting on. It hardly shows up though so I just did simple grid lines on this one. I do think I'll make a couple blue ones and embroider a snowflake in the bottom circle area for Christmas gifts. Thanks for this GREAT idea. It works fantastic! Hugs, Susan

Love your bowl holder. I just finished making 1 about an hour ago. I got my instructions from
www.quiltingboard.com/tutorials-f10/microwave-
fabric-bowls-tl44848.html. How large is yours?
I did a 12 inch 1-next I'll try a 10 inch one.
It was simple to do -I did have a problem with the
batting moving. I don't have a walking foot. I used
a lot of pins. May try spray adhesive next time.

Thanks Maureen !

I used 10" sq. fabric and 9" sq batting. I also cut 2 circles the size of a CD/DVD. I used a a few straight pins when I got everything centered to keep it from shirting. I did use a walking foot on mine. Mine fit my "Corelle" cereal bowl perfectly when done.
