Those on the links are incredible! Who could wear something that warm? I love the upholstery!
Oh, I could!!! When the temperature drops below 25C I head straight for my pure wool undies and start to shiver. The cold and I are arch enemies... and here comes another winter!!! Alma.
On the old sweaters theme I found these sites, really cool! or should that be hot?
There are brilliant ideas here, Meganne.
I particularly like the pillow/cushion ideas. Sitting on a knitted cushion is heaven - one made from the body of a jumper is quicker and better. Alma.
How is Don Alma? I haven't heard from you for a while but I knew you would be busy as well as worried, and I didn't want to bother you.
I was praying everything would go well, so I hope it is GREAT news.
Hugs and much love, Meg
He's fine, thanks, and we'll be back in Ballarat this week for a checkup. Alma.
My Goodness!!! it's now very late and the children - our middle-aged children, the grand-chlldren and the great-grand-children - have now gone home.
Tomorrow I've promised myself to spend a long happy relaxed time recharging my battery and looking at the links.
Thankyou, Everyone, so much for posting the messages.
AlmaG.
Alma, it sounds great - loved the links provided - they sure make you want to go to the thrift shop and then cut up sweaters - Hehehe!
I hope the link works, this one on youtube is amazing

Check out the 5th pic here, Alma. Pretty stunning!
Even me "sew-dummie" are tempted to buy the pdf and give it a try and sew such a wonderful coat. Have more than enough old clothes to recycle ;o) just send it to my BBF who can sew much better *lol*
Greetings, Bettina
That's it!!! That's the picture my big, burly, bearded removalist told me about. He's really a craft person at heart. Isn't that coat wonderful!! Alma.
It is as if you were reading my mind. I have a cape type garment in mind that would do something like that. I am on the look out! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Haven't seen that site Alma - sounds interesting. Love Chris
