If you bought the machine new it will still be under warenty. Contact the dealer and get them to look
I already took it in. The dealer refused to work on it under warranty because I bought it online. I will try another, but have been trying to figure it out on my own before I am without it for who knows how long.
I had a 750D that wouldn't pick up the bobbin thread. Took it in & it turned out to be the top thread getting stuck. He told me to remove the top cover where you thread it & clean regularly. Always found bits of thread there. You could try running floss through it. The 750 ran perfect, ONLY WHEN VERY CLEAN. Hope this helps. xx
Tried the floss. It helped with the thread fraying a bit but not the major problem I am having with knits.
Well tell us your problems and we'll see if we can help!
I have a 750D.
It is only 6 months old. I absolutely LOVED it up until a couple of weeks ago. The bobbin quit catching the top thread. I cleaned and prayed and cleaned and prayed and thought I had it fixed. But, I didn't. Since I have bought it, I have used sticky back stabilizer for knits, hooping the stabilizer and sticking the onesie or whatever to it and it has worked perfectly. Now it will not. It will work fine on woven fabrics, but I now have to use an iron-on stabilizer and hoop onesies and the quality is still not the same. What am I doing wrong? To top it off, I took it to the nearest Brother service center (over 40 miles away) and they refused to do warranty work on a machine purchased online. Help
Make sure the needle is all the way to the top of the needle holder. Push it up as far as it will go, Try it with a brand new needle
Sorry; no advice.
Best of luck with machine problems.
Hugs,
