How do you buy your felt? By the piece or by the yard? Does anyone order online or have any good sources they would like to share? Thanks!

depending on how much I need I could buy the squares or off the bolt!!!

I buy felt off the bolt. I only buy it where I can see it. The quality varies, particularly the white. I often find very lumpy looking white felt and I don't like it that way. Good sources for me is Hancock's and Walmart.

I like Hancock's too. Here they have good quality fabric and good sales.

I usually purchase felt by the bolt online at Joann's 50 percent off and free shipping during special times of the year sales.
Also, have purchased fancy felts in packs online on sale different places and different quality.

I buy when I find in the remnants at Hancocks-$1.00
a piece. I got a good assortment during Jan. and Feb. I don't get winter association, but also get
a lot of nice pieces of fleece that way.

I haven't found any good deals online, I go to Hancock when they have a sale or use a coupon. I can also get the small squares at Hobby lobby,Michaels or Walmart

Felt Fleece and flannel. I need lots of yardarge in lots of colors. I use felt for finger puppets, use fleece for hand puppets, flannel can go anywhere. felt is for anything not worn and collect dust and threads. Polar fleece is the same way. just a fyi. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

I get it by the sheet - and wait for it to go on sale at Joann or Michaels. I understand the dollar stores sometimes carry it too - must try that.

I buy lots of small 9" X 12" squares. Especially in colors that I can not buy by the yard. These I use for coasters. The colors I use frequently like the red, white, cream, etc I buy by the yard. In my area the only place I can find it is at Ben Franklin Craft store. I have never bought any felt over the internet. Hugs, Mary

Wow, I haven't seen a Ben Franklin in years!! They used to be called "dime stores" - must have changed their focus. Would love to have one close to me.

I buy the a4 size bits and am very careful with how I use it. Even the tiny scraps are cut up and go to a school for projects.
