Mine is almost done....My grandaughter is a 2012 graduate and she wants one with her very favoriet person on it. Will put in projects just as soon as I fig out how to put the darn strings in. I have to take the lining back out I forgot the pockets, (well think I won't decide to do it at midnight again). Guess the quilt I was making is set on the back burner for now...Love making these.

It is confusing , sometimes. You may have gotten it done,by now but I will try to tell you.Starting cord at one side casing opening, run completely through , all the way around, coming out where you started. You now have a cord that goes in the casing, all the way around, and both ends at same side . Now on opposite side casing, insert your cord and run all the way through back to where you started that end.Now you have those 2 ends on the same side .Catching all 4 ends , pull your bag closed. Sorry you forgot your pockets, I hate to have to rip. Let me see who her favorite person is!-Toogie
This is wonderful! And I love all the pictures! Thanks for sharing! *'s for all
What a great bag. Love the colour and all the pictures. Shirley
Oh it´s looks great. And what a good idea so use it for baby stuff
I thought of this and we always have a bag for Avery, only I may need to enlarge hers a little, since we have to bring so much. Do you make yours for younger age girls, or teenage,or us ? I guess it depends on the fabric choice. Thank you so much again for giving us this idea.-Toogie
Very nice bag I like the way you were able to match the flowers on your material with the applique flower Perfect. Hugs Joyce
Great Job on this bag love all pictures you did a splendid job showing details. This would be a great bag for many things.
Thanks for looking and I DO love to take pictures. Yes, this bag is a must for Avery-T
This is a super bag - thanks for sharing all the variations and the process of the embroidery work, too.
I gave the measurements that I used in Community. I did like the emb stages, I wonder what program KK used to digitize. It sure stitches well.-T
You did an amazing job on the bag and it is a nice size. Love the inside pockets.
Thank you very much.If I were to make one for myself, I would need a little larger.haha If anyone is interested in the measurements by inches,I can tell you the sizes that I used.Futte put hers in cm, and I converted to inches.
I would love to have the conversion. I think I would like to make my brother in law one...he is going for cancer treatments and thought some little things like tissues pencils...crossword puzzles would be perfect to give him.
Hugs Joann
I will post a new post in Community-public, so maybe it won't cut me off.I'll put the measurements that I used there-Toogie
I missed Futte's original post with the measurements, but I'd love your conversions, also.
I also wanted to show you how KK flower stitched out. I think you could stop in any of the add-on fabic stages and have a different look. I like this applique st b/4 the satin, too. Just wanted you to see-T ... ps.I started to skip the second fabric(green Dot) and go to the center and use the dot there. The 2nd step covered most of my print
Wowwwwwwwwwww i love it and that sewing lesson was very cheap to i love it with pitures better then words :):) thanks hugs
Thank you,I thought maybe it was too much, but the applique IS a good design,as far as the stitching and so versatile. Also, futte's bag is a 5 star***** with me!
Yes,capoodle, I wonder what the program was ,KK used. It is a very well stitched design-T
