Thanks, everyone.. I woke at 3 this morning and I thought that I did not check the bobbin case to see if it shifted in the move. Well, I put in the other bobbin case and a class 15 prewound bobbin. I made my first thing today!! I also had to work most of the day.. Thanks!! Love it!! I knew it was me and not the machine.. I was just tired..
This machine looks similar to the Brother 4000. The first time I threaded mine I had to get the book out. Hope you figured it out. xx
the machine pictured is an Ellegante2 and remember the Brother and Babylock as sister company's.
Hope you are whizzing away stitching on your lovely new machine.

I am sure it has a guide on it - just follow the 1, 2, 3 & clip the thread and push the auto feed button - which is the one with the thread going through the needle and green on the far right in this photo.
On the screen there is also a little tutorial on it - I bet.
PM me if you need more help - I have an Ellegante2 and I bet there isn't that much difference in this feature on mine as on yours.
Not sure where you are, but I also have the Ellisimo...if you have problems or questions, send me a PM and I will be happy to try to help you...It's a fantastic machine...and once you get the "hang" of it, nothing will stand in your way!
Is you tube any good? When you get threaded up have fun with your new machine
If you need help send me a PM. Maybe I can talk you through it via telephone.
