Xmas trees by katulle.I did these a few months ago & forgot all about them.The top 2 are done in green satin which left fibres everywhere & had to clean out the bobbin case afterwards.The bottom 2 are done in patchwork fabric,The digitizing is great but the stabilizer & wadding that I used have left fine white fibres showing through the satin stitch edges around the tree.Is there any stabilizer & wadding that could be used which leaves no fibres showing through?

211079Perhaps a fusible stablizer would work, and maybe the flat cotton batting/wadding used in quilts might help. There's also the new bamboo batting/wadding but I haven't used it yet.

89895They all seem to do it except the wash away stabelizers. If this happens to me I go around the edge with a coloured pima pen . that helps them blend in and not notisable.

54619I love your trees have you tried using felt, I sometimes use it, it comes is all colours and you can match your work to the felt used.hope this helps, regards Carol
