Here is the neck of a turtle neck sweater I remodled, making it a crew neck to wear with my jackets the color is more burgandy then red but I am pleased with how it turned out.

What a lovely way to make something usable - that you would have to give away or trash - thanks so much for sharing your pictures.

You have done an amazing, professional job. Please tell me what the fabric is and how you had enough material to cut on the bias. Sarah.

I purhased about one half yd it is a polyster with one side shinie I cut this about 1 1/2" wide fold this double meet the ends in the middle press and be sure it is on the 45" bias I use a regular foot but set the needle over so it come where I want the stitch line and use it as a guide line to help my stitch stay straight. I hope this will help you.

Wow, ramonaz is right - your stitching is perfect. I find bias bindings a bit challenging to get it to lay smoothly. You've done a great job with it here.

You have done such a beautiful job. The stitching is perfect. I would love to know how you did this. Did you use a serger?
