I hope that I did not mislead anyone. These are bought , see the tag in the top close up,in India.(I forget not all Cuties go to personals. There I posted more photos.)This looks like it is hand-embrodiered.The stitches are rather long, and it has sequins and stones added. The thread is a coarser, metalic thread ,than we use on our machines, almost like a thin wire. The fabric is beautiful shades of blue, reminds me of exiotic places or oceans. It should look good on her, with those blue eyes.I thought it was worth posting here,so all could see, for ideas. It is beautiful, but I cannot take credit for the work. Hugs-Toogie
Toogie, this is such lovely work - what a presious gift for Avery. Can't wait to see a picture of her in it!
Well, you know me,Shirleen. If I am not sewing, I snap!(Remember my camera case?)
She is going to be one lucky and well adorned little girl!! Very nice indeed!!
It's gorgeous. She will be beautiful wearing it. Is this for a special occasion?
Not really,I guess her mom just wanted to bring her back something. She will probally wear it to church,Father's Day. That is when the group will wear their Indian outfits and testify about their mission. You are right, it is gorgeous, the colors magnificent!
Had two more photos, that didn't load. The rolled up piece is a scarf.
It should fit,Shirleen. The tops are worn long like a short dress but the bottom legs are very long and skinny. They may, suppose to, just bunch up, above the ankles.I am not sure how they are suppose to fit/wear.She also bought her, the ankle bracelets, they wear 2, 1 on each ankle.
