Sorry for the delay on this one. Shirlene asked me to post this and I'm just getting around to it. This is a decorated Tea Cup my daughter made for me a few years ago that is a pin cushion. It is a little dirty because it stays beside my embroidery machine and gets dusty....

Terre, what a lovely china tea cup and saucer and now a very pretty pin cushion - I love it and I am so thrilled that you shared it with us. Your daughter did a lovely job with this and she was very creative. THANKS!

Thank shirlene. This China didn't have anything wrong with it, but now with the hot glue gun not sure it will crack if I ever want to drink some hot teas. Haha...

Oh I wonder what would happen, too.

Very nice compared to this little wheel barrow I made for my one area I use pins in. I like the saucer for the extra catch. Tell your daugther nice work obviously it is a gift that keeps on giving and very useful.

Thank you for sharing. This would be such a nice gift to give to many of my quilter friends. I must go tea cup hunting. I really like the saucer idea to because, it can hold sew much more. Really nice.

I can see why you have it setting beside your machine all the time. Your daughter did a lovely job. What did she fill the inside with? Thanks for sharing.

Yum! If only it was a real pie. lol The fabric with dots looks just like a pie crust to me. Is the cup glued to the saucer.

This one isn't. The one I did for my mother is. I'll take a picture of it the next time I'm there and share.
