I have watched a webinar on cut work tool.I would love to have it too. I think in the $ 500. range. I am going to wait to see what develops before I buy it as I do not digitize . I realized that I am limited. Kay

I recently asked a Babylock dealer about the cutwork needles, was told they were not out yet, how did I hear about them? and dealers had not been trained on them yet. Asked the Bernina Dealer and they offered me a $900 software package with 4 needles (replacement needles sell for 4 for $10) but they weren't available yet, and the dealer didn't know much about them. Then I asked the Viking dealer and he had them and they are 4 for $10. Some of the new pattern sets have an icon stating to be used with the new needles, but cutwork patterns are available without that icon as well, and 5D software should be able to convert the patterns to use the needles. Amazing different dealers don't know what is going on with different manufacturers, but I guess it is all they can do to keep up with their own stuff. Needles cut the cutwork, but you can do it yourself if you are VERY careful...lots of patterns out there can be used with any machine! Linda

You can do embroidered cutwork on any embroidery machine. Some machines cut the fabric for you, but you can always cut it yourself if you don't have a fancy machine. Give it a try, Susan
