I have ordered from Connecting Threads and I also love their fabric, especially their batiks. They are so nice and priced a lot cheaper than our local quilt shops so I go their first looking before going to the quilt shop when I need something.
Thank you for the picture and the link, Michelle. I have saved the link in my favorites.
Hugs, Lidia
What a wonderful selection of colors. I love Connecting Threads and use their cotton thread all the time. Hugs..Carol
Has anyone used the Cotton thread from Connecting Threads?
I am wondering if it is gives off a lot of lint in the bobbin area?

It does if you're doing FSL. When I use it for quilting or regular sewing there is no problem. They are having a sale right now on some of their colors. Hugs..Carol
You got me into trouble. I had to check it out and now there are a few less Dollars in my Treasury :)
Thanks for sharing! I go there frequently, and when fabric is on clearance it's an absolute steal! For USA gals, $50 ships FREE. And the fabric is very very nice.
So sorry for you overseas gals, wonder what the shipping would cost for one of us to mail you your order. If it was coming from a person, not a company, could it just be a 'gift' to get around all that duty charge? Just a thought, maybe postage would make it just as expensive as your own fabrics. I know postage to Australia from USA is horrific, as I found out when I was going to send Meganne one of my wigs--$40!! Oh, well...
Hugs, Marji
I am in Canada and even with the shipping it is very much cheaper than I would pay here. I
purchased 40 yards of fabric and even with shipping I paid around $145.00. Cannot beat that around here.
Cool! Glad you can take advantage of such wonderful fabric. Do feel sorry for the overseas gals, though.
You are so cruel! I had a look at the website and saw the fabulous selection at much less that half the price here in the UK. Grrr!!
Oh Sue, I did not mean to be cruel, just wanted to show and tell LOL. It is about 1/3 of the cost I pay here in Canada and they charge minimal shipping so I intend to buy more.
I'm with Sue, feeling green with envy!. I'm going to look into postal charges to the UK as I think the choice is so much better than here and take my chances with the duty. I'll see. Jan
me too.. so jealous here in the UK
Big hgus from London - Maria xx
P.S. cant wait to see your creations lol
Have just tried to register and found out that they only ship in America and to Canada! so that's out. A great pity. Jan
I use them from time to time and love the quality of the fabric I receive. Great place to buy that fabric you've just gotta have.
I love connectingthreads! Excellent quality fabric and cotton thread! Thanks for sharing! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
