Heirloom refers to a style usually referring to yesteryears masterpieces of lovely laces and embroideries. It can also be used in reference to quality of the work we used to see, handmaid and worthy of passing down through the generations. A prized possession of beauty of workmanship of the highest quality

Heirloom usually refers to antique, older days, granny's granny' days and so forth. They are lovely and usually delicately coloured.****

Heirloom usually refers to the older hand designs that were hand sewn along with the garment being
hand sewn. Now we can almost duplicate that delicate
look with our wonderful embroidery machines and the
lovely stitches on our sewing machines. I hipe this

In this case they are embroidery designs that have lasted through out many years.

Yep they are like they used embroidery thread. The only advise I can give you when you purchase these look at design size...I bought 2 that was suppose to fit 4x4 hoop and they were slightly larger and now can't use. I will be able to do this when my friend comes home and I can use her machine.

They are usually not very dense. Can't you downsize them enough? Angie

heirlooms are old designs. Like your Grandmother and Great Grandmother would of used. Old fashioned or vintage.
