Jan - can we have an update on your situation, Are you still safe?
The vastnes and destruction of this fire is unreal.
I hope you are alright, see on TV how terrible it is. Pray the fires will soon be put out for you all.
I've been keeping updated about the fires from daughter in AZ. If you need, then you do have a fire-escape plan ready, don't you. My thoughts are with those thousands of poor people who have evacuated and then lost their homes, or stayed and watched their homes burn down. Fire is one of the fears we live with here, too, and I've told DIL in their house down the hill that if a fire threatens, get the children in the car and into town, do it while she has time to get out safely, let the house go.... we can rebuild a dwelling but we can't bring back lives.
I'm sure you already know this and I hope you will remain safe wherever you are. I also send thoughts of safety for those brave firemen and firewomen who do their best to keep others safe.

Dear Jan, I have been thinking of you and you are in my prayers. How is Ben? Where is his camp? Hugs and blessings and prayers for your safe keeping all around!! ro I'll have to get a note off to yo in an email...tomorrow I hope!;>)
Sending prayers that they get this under control and you are safe.
I have been praying and will continue to pray for all involved. We know folks in the area. It is too scary to comprehend. I am glad you are getting prepared in case you have to leave. Remember your photos and any other things that you cannot replace through insurance.
Please stay safe. Please plan for the worse (packing up what you need to take if the time comes that you must go) and we will all pray for the best.
We lived and fought through the Mason Gulch Fire up here in Beulah, 7 years ago,Jan. I know the pain and anxiety you are feeling. And as a volunteer firefighter, I greatly appreciate your prayers. Photo is Chapel Hills in Co Springs Arlet
