Jacket from a knit skirt, I could not find the yellow color I wanted so found a knit straight skirt at a thrift shop made use of the kick pleat in the back for my jacket and the orginal hem,I added some embroidery and a founce on the sleeve from the skirt fabric I plan to wear with it (made this skirt too) the jacket not counting the thread and stablizer coast about $2.25

Very cute jacket. I bet it goes great with your skirt. You have a great talent to be able to think out a pattern to make from the skirt. I wish I had that kind of talent. And the bonus a great price.

Aren't you clever. Nice job. Love to see what other ladies make from reuseable cloths.

Thanks, for all the kind remarks, I enjoyed seeing what I could do with this skirt I even used there same side seams so I would not use more of the material I had none to spare I had to cut careful.

How clever of you. I love to re-purpose things and if you can save money it is even sweeter.
