Where is a good place to order wash away stabilizer? It is not available locally and if I have to drive 45 miles I might as well pay postage and save my gasoline. And I can be sewing instead of driving.

I have bought from Designs by Sick and Anna Bove before. Designs by Sick do have good prices, and even better if you catch a sale. Depends where you live of course as postage comes into it but I am in NZ and even then, I got a few bits and pieces, some I can't get here anyway and it worked out reasonably priced.

I get mine from WorldWeidner.com - no shipping with $20 order to the US.

A few weeks ago someone here recommended WorldWeidner so I took a chance and ordered a couple of stabilizers and prewound bobbins. They sent an immedi ate e-mail confirming my order, another when they shipped it and it was delivered in under a week. Quality of all seems excellent and prices were even better, plus free shipping. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Try here - they do have a 3 yard minimum, but no freight. I like it because it is 60" wide by the yard. Good luck

The Embroidery Store. Before checking any other section, check their sales and clearances areas. If they have them, take a chance and get a grab bag of each of the varieties of stabilizers. They are really high quality materials, and come in commercial size rolls, so you are getting a LOT for what you are paying!! I received my order about a month ago and couldn't be happier...with price, quality, timely shipping, everything. I have tried Worldweidner and Thread Art, and The Embroidery store beat everyone for prices.

i also love the embroidery store. they are located in North Carolina and have excellent customer service. I especially like the wash away -tear away for terry towels and kitchen dish cloths, do not use for free standing lace designs. I also use this for my fleece scarves that I make. kay

I've used Worldweidner several times and had it shipped to Saudi Arabia with no problems! Prices are good but you can watch for sales.
