I need cuties help from all over the world. I like making my mother wall quilts for her office and am working on gathering my designs to go on it now. It's going to be a "World wallquilt", there will be a section for each country I can come up with stuff for, I have gathered several from Emblibrary but heres where I need your help, when you think of Your country, what places or items, animals, whatever stands out in your mind as representive of your country? Thank you for all help!!

Germany is more than beer and Bavaria Octoberfest but thats what comes to mind mostly - how about the Brothers Grimm and Fairytales or Father Rhine with Lorelei and Wilhelm Buschs Max and Moritz.
I like to travel around the world with Mark Twain and love his book about traveling in Europe.

France eifel tower. Spain also bull fighting, though I do not like it, the spanish are passionate about it.so flaminco dancing is nicer I think.
Gerry has mentioned all of Holland lol.
England also big ben, have seen patterns of that and I love the 16th century houses and pubs here.
the guards I love with their polar bear hats, so colourfull.

Well of course Australia has the most unusual animals in the world.

Black Swan, Cockatoo, Echidna, Emu, Frilled neck Lizard, Goanna, Kangaroo, King Parrot, Koala, Kookaburra, Magpie, Possum (Brushtail), Quokka, Tasmanian Devil, Wallaby, Wombat, - they are just ones I can think of off the top of my head. Love and blessings Chris

After living in the DC area for 35 yrs., the monuments always come to mind. Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson etc. Those are easy to find. Just came back from out West & saw Mt. Rushmore & Old Faithful which are also beautiful. I'll see if what I have in my files is marked as to where I got them!
