I like that you could make your own. Blank patches is the way to go. Live Laugh Download Stitch!
I feel very honoured to have played even a small part in providing these for the Scouts. Hugs n roses, Meganne
I thought the Boy Scouts provided the patches. You did a great job with these.
Well, they do but they are expensive and don't always have patches that you want - Making her own are a cool thing! Just want more info on how she did it!
Thanks! I hooped tear away stabilizer then used Dritz Spray Adhesive to attach the patches to the stabilizer. To keep from rehooping 24 times I used my largest hoop and attached all the patches I could fit then moved the design on my machine each time to align with the center of the next patch.
Nice job, so how did you end up doing them?

I also used a 90 needle labled for jeans/denim since the patches were the iron on kind and had a thicker backing.
those are great. I made adult patrol patches for my hubby and the other adults - they are the "old goat Patrol" What circle did you use? what did you use for stablizer?
Thanks!
The Children's Minister who leads the troop ordered blank patches from the Boy Scouts. I used a medium weight tear away.
Excellent job on them. The boys are always excited to earn a new badge.
