try to chance the needle put heavy stabilizer clean the bobbin case
Mine did that the other day. I put in a bobbin that I wound myself. Tried a different bobbin I also wound myself. Did the same. Sew I went back to the prewound bobbins I always use. Worked great. Maybe thats it.
Do your pre-wound bobbins & the ones you wind yourself have the same thread guage? Maybe your bobbin thread is thinner than the pre-wounds? Just curious.
I got some pre-wounds from my Janome dealer, & the thread was more like ordinary sewing thread than the super-thin bobbin thread (also called lingerie thread) that I use.
I have a Janome, but it seems to me that the bobbin tension is not tight enough. If you got this from a dealer, take it back, along with the faulty design sew-outs, they should adjust it for free for you if it's new. Actually, a good dealer should make sure the machine is perfectly adjusted before it goes out the door, my dealer sure did. Best of luck, hugs, Marji
Check the bobbin case - often there is a small piece of fluff stuck in it which causes the tension to go haywire.
Has it just started or is the several designs that you have tried? Some designs are lacking in the pull that is layed down prior to stitching. Give more info and maybe we can help. P.S. try stitching something that you have successfully stitched before and see if IT pulls the tension to the top. It it is something that I just HAVE to use I will cheat and used colored pens to tint the black outline so that the white bobbin doesn't show - not preferable, but sometimes salvages a project.;)
No these are designs I have succesfully embroidered on my Bernina, so it is not the design. It does it with all the designs.
