You did a great job adapting them so you could use them. They look really nice.

Excellent stitchin'! I wouldn't mind a set myself! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Template for towel topper.
It uses the whole page (letter size paper).
Before cutting out fabric draw the template onto the fabric on right side of fabric (easier to see the design for design placement. important not to cut the fabric before embroidery that way you have enough fabric to hoop. use your favorite stablizer hoop and stitch out design ( 4x4 placement marked on template)
After embroidery is complete cut out the fabric, cut out a second piece of fabric with right sides together stitch the two together 1/4 inch seam allowance leave bottom open, clip curves and turn inside out press with an iron, turn the bottom to the inside about an inch, fold a towel into pleats and tuck it in the bottom about 1/2 to 1 inch pin in place and stitch the bottom closed. Top stitch around the edge. put in button hole and button and you are done.
I only used half a towel, so you can get two towels from one.
I hope this helps I don't normally do tuts...lol
Nice job. They look great! I only have 4x4 also.
I would be very interested in your template also.
That is what I like about our girls/boys. We make a plan if plan A is not working. Good job. L'mari
