Suelyn, this is really pretty. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Yes, when you enlarge the picture, there it sparkles really well! These are quite pretty, congrats. Hugs, Marji
Thank you all for your kind words, I think I could be hooked . Hopefully I will get really good at this.
Wow it is great and I will take credit for the mylar... so glad it worked! Yeah! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
Yes the sparkle is all down to you. I did one with Mylar and one without and the difference was amazing. Thanks for your great idea
Fantastic job, they are so nice, I have two candles ready to have a go, I have done a soap but it was not as pretty as yours, now i have swopped lap tops and lost the link for the candle embroidery, if you could help me I would be greatful.
Hugs Pa
I did both designs exactly the same way,1 layer of solve 1 layer of sparkly organza and then Mylar on top then just pressed GO!!! It was easy to cut around the organza with sharp embroidery scissors and then I just wet the soap a little and stuck the design on and pressed it down and especially around the edges. The candle was a little trickier so I used a clear household glue and just scratched the candle a little where I want to place the design and it was fine. The hot fix gems would not stick to the candle so it just placed a couple on the design itself. I think next one I do will have a matching ribbon round the base. Please let me know if I can help any further.
Gn to it with a little pressure around the edges. The candle was a little trickier as the design need to be glued on and I had some clear strong household glue so I used that. I just scratched the candle a little where I wanted to put the design.
Also the hot fix gems wouldn't,t stick to the wax so I just added them to the design. Also I think I will add a matching ribbon to the bottom of the candle.
By making this you show us how to make a great gift without spending lot of money. Maby we can set a name on the candle and a datum. Love this :)
Looks great - well done. I will post my bar om projects as soon as it is dry. Sarah
