The husqvarna's are been made in china now. My machine repair man told me there has been a lot of problems with them.
Yes, it would help to know which country someone was in if they're having problems like this, or even which state if in the USA. My Janome dealer also used to sell Bernina, and they are in contact with dealers all over the States. She has several times said she'd recommend a dealer in someone's area who they knew personally was good & reputable, but it's hard when we don't know where people are. Not an address, or anything personal, because that wouldn't be safe, but just an area of the world or state of the USA, so perhaps we could provide more specific help from our respective dealers. Just a thought, hugs, Marji
She pretty much said that they need to return the Ruby to the dealer and get another machine - which I would do - if it were me.
seems like the reps always use the "i don't know of any problems" line regardless of brand or model of machine.
Thanks for asking, I do not have the Ruby, been looking at it and will think twice before buying.
would just be my luck to have a wrong one lol
I think you just validated my point when I said Viking was getting a lot of bad press by not making good, immediately, on machines that aren't up to standard!! Sure wish there was someone on here that could put that bug in Viking's ear!
