I need help. I have a Baby lock ellageo and keep getting the error message "Change to a bigger frame" I am using the 6x10. Some time it works but if I stop to change thread the message comes up again. I haven't used the machine in months. Trying to make a quilt label.

I have the Quattro, and I get the same message sometimes. Depending on the dimensions of the design, and the orientation of the design in the hoop, there is no way around this problem other than reducing it a wee bit, or....using your bigger hoop. I bought the 5x7 hoop for the Quattro just because many of the designs are just a smidge too big for the "4x4" hoop! and I always have to use my arrow keys to play with the positioning of the true "center" of the design in the hoop. Regardless of hoop size, your machine thinks the design is another size...it's a smart computer! Good luck!!

I have the Janome 300E, she's not so smart, she doesn't say things like this, hee hee hee. Glad you got some help from Baby Lock people, hope it works for you. Hugs, Marji

This happens to me when the design is just a bit too big. You may need to adjust the size of the design. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

Is the design centered in the frame on your screen? I have an Ellisimo..if I reposition the design in the editing screen and move to "Sewing" I get the same error message. You can make edits in the machine including placement and sizing, etc., for the largest hoop (for me it's 8x12) and then move to "Sewing" and because you have made edits for a larger frame without realizing it. I hope this makes sense...

Two thin to try-1-where you select the size hoop you want to use just change it a couple of times and then put it back to the one you really want -2- take the hoop off and put it back on and sometimes it will reset.
good luck

Perhaps the design is on a frame larger than your 6x10 and you need to change that to the 6x10 in your editing program and then put it back into your machine?????

The machine shows that it is right for the 6x10 frame.I did all the editing on the machine.
